Yesterday we completed the second periode of CES Vestamager this year. We had a very nice morning with clear sky and a lot of birds singing. In total we caught 24 birds which I believe is pretty much standard for the second periode.

Blackbird: 1 (0)

Tree pipit: 0 (1)
Furthermore we were lucky to see a woodcock while opening the nest, watched a few honey huzzards on migration and we had the pleasure of being accompanied with 5 grasshopper warblers singing the entire morgen. Also there are starlings nesting in the same tree close to the trail as last year.
